Large

I see some large people, and they seem happy.
I slowly get angrier and more irritable.

Results

I did pretty good. I missed a couple of days, but I feel better.
This past week, I only walked once. However, I think I made up a couple of days today (Saturday). I went on a camp out with my scouts, hiked 5 miles, and ran like crazy playing night games, and capture the flag. We played a wierd hybrid of Kick the Can, and a game called "Spotlight" where the person who is "IT" has a flash light, and try's to spot light the others. We also exchanged the "Can" for a glow in the dark "football". We made it so that anyone who was caught, had to help "IT" find the others. It was a blast. I miss being a kid.
So far, I feel better, but I'm still huge. I need to go swimming. I used to swim alot in our old apartment, but access to a pool currently is more difficult.
The goal for next week is to Walk every day of course, and go swimming somehow. I'll let you know.

I'm Still Here

Still working on this plan. I haven't been following it much. I have excuses, but that's all they are, so I won't bore anyone with them.
I noticed yesterday while watching a circa 1975 Arnold Schwarzenegger body building video on You Tube (I used to enjoy lifting) that the body builders today, as compared with Arnold's era, are alot like overweight people. They seem to be too large for themselves, and they carry themselves similar to overweight people. I think a small guy could probably take on a body builder, even if just for the fact that the body builder can't reach across his own massive chest to touch the opposite shoulder.
The point is that I do miss lifting weights, and it would be good to get back into this. However, I think I need to stay on the cardio side first, and get down to a reasonable state of movement, as I too have trouble doing anything that requires less than my entire body to move. I'm also sick of feeling furniture creak under the strain of their unfortunate encounter with me...
So, I will be walking every day this week, and I will report the results later.

So Far, So good.

So far so good. Today, I played dodge ball for an hour, so I'm counting that as my 30 min walk. I haven't got a scale yet, so I can't tell if I'm loosing weight, but I feel a bit better.

I've been overweight, off and on my entire life. I averaged around 215 - 240 in High School. I stayed at about 240 for about 3 years after high school. I then was able to get down to 175, following a similar plan that I have now. However, at that time I had some pretty big life changes and stresses to help keep me motivated. This time, my life is pretty good, so it will be harder.
